Yunhe Wooden Toy Enterprises Break the Ice and Move Forward
“This is already our nearly 20th time exhibiting at the show,” said Ma Dafei, General Manager of JINMA Arts & Crafts Co., Ltd., speaking with reporters via WeChat about the outcomes of this exhibition. He explained that due to the pandemic, the company had missed the Nuremberg Toy Fair for three consecutive years; thus, successfully participating in this year’s fair—despite numerous challenges—filled the entire team with excitement. On the very first day of the exhibition, they collected business cards from over 100 companies—a result far exceeding their expectations. In contrast, Zhejiang Jincheng Wood Industry Co., Ltd. is a “newcomer” to the Nuremberg International Toy Fair.
Yet even on its debut, Jincheng Wood Industry appeared confident and well-prepared. Ye Chen, General Manager of the company, noted that meeting buyers face-to-face and demonstrating newly developed products in person delivered an impact no number of online meetings could replicate. Moreover, thanks to prior online communication, several potential clients visited their booth promptly upon arrival and expressed strong interest in initiating formal cooperation.
Known as one of the world’s most prestigious professional toy trade fairs, the German Nuremberg Toy Fair is held annually and ranks among the top three global toy exhibitions in terms of influence and attendance.
During this order-acquisition mission, ten wooden-toy enterprises from Yunhe County secured tentative orders totaling USD 20 million. Following the conclusion of the fair, Yunhe County Qimeile Toys Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Jiner Tai Toys Co., Ltd. will travel to countries including the Netherlands and the UK to visit clients—determined to reclaim the business opportunities lost over the past three years.
